Terms of service

These terms govern the use of the Norm website and all services offered on it by Yusuf Enes Tokat, Danziger Straße 24, 37688 Beverungen. Deviating terms of the customer only apply if agreed in writing.

The free scan is a convenience provided without charge and without warranty of any kind. It reads the public markup of a single page and reports a weighted score.

We do not guarantee availability, completeness or correctness of the result. You may only scan sites you are entitled to test; automated mass scanning is not permitted.

SINGLE, REPORT and MONITOR are service contracts under § 611 BGB. A contract comes into effect when we confirm your request in writing and you accept the quote.

SINGLE covers one page in depth. REPORT covers up to 25 pages. MONITOR repeats the REPORT scope monthly and adds change alerts and a publishable accessibility statement.

SINGLE: 2 working days after the order is confirmed and access is available.

REPORT: 5 working days after the order is confirmed and the page list is agreed.

MONITOR: the first report to the REPORT deadline, then monthly. Delivery periods pause while we are waiting on information or access from you.

Prices are quoted in euros. Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction.

MONITOR is billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at the end of any billing month.

No scan, report or score issued by Norm constitutes a legal certification of compliance with the EAA, BFSG, BITV 2.0, EN 301 549, WCAG or any other standard. Results are technical findings and a professional opinion. Responsibility for compliance remains with the operator of the website.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for the free scan is excluded except for intent and gross negligence.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office.
